Caught Some Shrimp and Crawfish

My niece and I went to the stream yesterday and caught some new friends. There were a bunch of smaller decapods that we caught, can't really tell the species just yet, not sure if it's a kind of crawfish or some shrimp. Yet, the larger ones were quite noticeable.

Sorry for the low-quality image, I still haven't gotten a better camera. In this image, you can see one of the shrimp that I caught in a coffee grounds container.

When we caught them we put them into one container, everything together. The container was just an empty coffee grounds container. There seem to be two see-through shrimp. They seem to be larger than the ghost shrimp sold from stores like Petsmart, about 1.7 inches. We also caught a small crawfish/crayfish, but the crawfish wouldn't leave the shrimp alone.

When the water cleared up after settling, I noticed that the shrimp would stay near the top of the container, if they went down then the crawfish would harass them, so I decided to move the crawfish into the container where the first crawfish we caught had passed away. This time it's been more than 24 hours and these creatures survived, so I think so far the transition worked out pretty well; Time will tell if things turn awry.

I'm feeling pretty confident with these catches, so if fate turns into a disaster for them, then I'll have to start again. Luckily, I am learning from my mistakes.
