Saludos,

Cheers,

Last Sunday in a casual pool at my grandparents' house I was able to develop a technique for the backstroke swimming style, without having perfected it even today in formal practice in the Bolivarian pools, I show the teacher what I have learned and through some recommendations we begin to work in getting the right technique to carry it out.

Today I bring you the videos of the practices carried out, where I show the evolution that I am having with each minute in the style, I must admit that my arms still get quite tired, but practice creates resistance and resistance perfects the technique.

The first recommendations received was to reduce the intensity of the strokes, which was causing an imbalance and loss of direction. At first, he believed that with strong strokes he would be able to move more, but in reality it was having a counterproductive effect.

With these recommendations I was able to keep the direction in a straight line and not drift as much. Compared to the breaststroke, with which I am more familiar, this one is really easier, since, by always having your head above the water, breathing favors you and you do not lose your breath so quickly.

I hadn't trained for a long time and clearly my resistance is asleep, but little by little I will recover it. Before proceeding to practice back I went through a warm-up of 12 pools or 600 meters, under normal conditions I would have done them continuously but I had to divide them into 2 batches of 6 to be able to warm up the muscles well.

It was noted that the teacher was very happy to see me training again, it is nice that in this place they always make you feel welcome as time goes by. To finish the training they asked me to explain to a colleague how to float since he was having a lot of difficulties. I gladly did it.
