Hello Blurtters,

In agricultural mindset it is always advisable to create an avenue where you can observe your animals and also build more relationship in order to foresee what your animals looks like in the nearest months to come. This is been that there are some people or farmers who care less about the animals even though it is what they see they follow-up. This is what I mean when you have a particular animal you always try to make sure that the feeding habit you create makes them improve on their daily production just take for instance the laying birds. These are animals which consume less other than other poultry Birds such as broilers for those of us who actually know much more about poultry animals. We will definitely conclude that when you rear Poultry birds such as The Red Leghorns it is much more safer and a little bit easier because of what they consume from day one, to the point of lay and also to the actually laying stages.

  • Take for instance when I was in the university we were told and also showed what it looks like to be exposed to so many animals on the farm with different mindsets of living. I was personally exposed to the Poultry section, likewise the rabbitry section, likewise the grasscutter section which most people do not like to go because of the kind of food they eat and where they are being kept. I will talk more on this particular section of the grasscutter some other time. so I learnt more about animals and how to keep them both morning, afternoon, evening and also night. And now I'm taking them into Practices bit by bit and this is because there are no enough capital to establish myself as a farmer and also to secure some plot of land in order to start the business as a bonafide farmer. The Poultry birds called the laying birds are of different speciesalthough we have two common types here in Nigeria which I have seen with my naked eyes. We have the red leghorns, and the black Leghorns. But for me with the practices I have done and also experiments I will go with the Red Leghorns breed of birds. What you need to do as a farmer is just to feed them appropriately and also observe how they live.
