Hello friends,
I hope you are all doing okay?
Today I would be sharing with you all a drawing I made of an African Boy on dread. What attracted me to this image was his hair and as usually the depth and contrast of the image. There were no much steps because i got carried away with my drawing its was a large scale drawing. I started with a rough sketch then I started to build up the drawing using my 10B pencil from the left eyes. What I enjoyed drawing most in this portrait was the hair and lips. As I said I draw from the left to the right to avoid smudging. After I was done with the eyes and nose I shaded upward and pick the hair in the same manner from right to left. I drew and shaded out the mouth and the joined the jaw to chin and darken some areas. I did this drawing with a 10B Bianyo pencil on an cardboard paper.
Thanks you all for stopping by to read my post do drop your comments I would love to read and reply them all.
Hola amigos,
Me encantaría leerlas y responderlas todas.
