Hello foodies, I hope you are doing great. It's pumpkin season in my place and I'm happy about it because I love pumpkins. In addition to being delicious in both salty and sweet dishes, they are very healthy. I recently made a pumpkin pie and shared the recipe here, and today I'm going to share something a little different. It's a delicious dessert I made for the first time, and when I tried it, I was sorry I hadn't tried it before and spent years and years without enjoying this sweet treat. 😊
Yesterday my mom visited me and brought me a piece of pumpkin.
My family and I love roasted pumpkin the most, but yesterday I came up with the idea of making something creamy. Being a foodie, I like to try different recipes and I always enjoy it. I imagined a creamy taste and that was enough to get me into action and make a magnificent pumpkin pudding.
I washed the pumpkin and cut it into pieces.
I put it on baking paper and baked it.
I peeled the pieces and put them in a bowl.
I pureed the pumpkin with a stick mixer.
Then I measured 450 ml of milk.
Of those 450ml, I put 300ml to cook on low heat with 3 tablespoons of sugar.
And one bag of vanilla sugar.
I mixed the rest of the milk with vanilla pudding powder.
I added one egg to the pudding.
And whipped the mixture with a stick mixer.
When the milk boiled, I added the pudding and egg mixture.
Then I added pumpkin puree.
And cinnamon.
I stirred the mixture until it became thick.
When it thickens enough to leave a mark when stirring, the pudding is ready.
I poured the pudding into bowls and put them in the fridge to cool.
I turned one bowl over and made a special portion for my son, decorated with chocolate topping and chopped hazelnuts.
My son was delighted. This is a new taste of autumn, which we include in our autumn menu with great pleasure. 😊
Thank you very much for reading.
The images and writing are original and mine.
Greetings!
