Escalation - USA vs. Taiwan!

Recently, an article was published on the medium transition-news, which had the headline "Nordstream sabotage 2.0 in Taiwan". In fact, this is only marginally about Nordstream, which was used in the article for a comparison with current events, while the focus is on a similar act of sabotage, which caused Taiwan to issue a clear warning to the U.S. and was even officially announced. The connections between these events quickly become clear to anyone who has already studied the Nordstream issue in some detail.

The question that arises is: Why is Taiwan suddenly warning the United States? This warning came unexpectedly for many, since the White House has been announcing for a long time that the United States will support Taiwan in the conflict against the great power China, which sees Taiwan as part of the People's Republic and therefore wants to bring about a unification of the two countries. Because Taiwan is part of the People's Republic from the Chinese point of view and always has been from a historical point of view, this issue is therefore regarded as an "internal conflict" in which no outside interest group has the right to interfere.

Of course, it is widely known that Taiwan considers itself an independent state, which makes the whole thing look different again. The U.S., of course, immediately used this conflict to pursue its own interests, but ostensibly told the world that it would stand by Taiwan in its "freedom struggle," as they call it.

Now, one would think that allies are friends and don't threaten or warn each other, but instead, according to a report by Transition News, Taiwan has spoken clearly to its (supposed) "ally."

QUOTE: "Don't even think about blowing up our semiconductor industry!"

Why do you think people say that to supposed friends? The answer can be found in another section of this article.

EXCERPT: "The warning follows increasing calls from U.S. politicians and military analysts for Washington to destroy the island's vital technology sector."

Intermediate remark: This demand was actually made by US politicians, not in secret circles, but quite openly, which shows, among other things, such actions are nothing new, but common practice (keyword: Nordstream), with which Taiwan's reaction to its fake friends should also be comprehensible to everyone.

EXCERPT: "The reason for the measure was to prevent China from gaining control of lucrative shipments and to harm China's economy."

Well, this is how it looks like, this pseudo-harmonious world of the (self-proclaimed) "community of values", in which politicians meet like mafiosi, grin friendly in each other's faces, but would like to do such things behind each other's backs, in order to harm their enemies at the expense of bona fide allies and thus prove themselves to be friends that nobody really needs!

EXCERPT: "Congressman Seth Moulton is the latest American voice to suggest such drastic measures. Referring to the "Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company," Moulton said the U.S. should make it very clear to the Chinese that if they invade Taiwan, we will blow up TSMC."

This means that if China starts to do what it has already set in its agenda, namely to invade Taiwan in order to unify the People's Republic, then the White House will simply decide to destroy Taiwan's semiconductor industry or blow it up so the Chinese also don't get anything out of it, while the damage that results for Taiwan doesn't seem to matter. Of course, Taiwan then says "Don't even think about doing anything like that!", I mean, are the Taiwanese allowed to say or decide anything at all on the subject, or have their (so-called) allied friends from the West already decided everything for them?

EXCERPT: "Earlier, it was reported the U.S. Army War College suggested Washington should plan "scorched earth" tactics that could make Taiwan "not only unattractive if ever conquered by force, but also very costly."

The problem with the matter is only the question whether China is really only after Taiwan because of the semiconductors, or whether it is partly also about historical reappraisal for them, about their reputation, according to which they have everything under control in their country, and since they see Taiwan as a part of the country, but this - to put it bluntly - makes some kind of shenanigans, this is just the justification to basically unite the whole thing. In the end, this would not only mean that the U.S. would have withheld the promised aid to Taiwan, but would also cause massive economic damage to the country, from which a large part of all semiconductors on the world market originate, by destroying TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company), in addition to everything it already has to expect from the Chinese People's Republic.

EXTRACT: "Taiwan has reacted angrily to unilateral U.S. calls for sabotage. Interior Ministry defense chief Chiu Kuo-cheng rejected the tough U.S. stance and said Taiwan's armed forces would 'not tolerate the destruction of any Taiwanese facilities.'"

Of course, Taiwan can now start threatening everyone, first China and recently also the USA, but it is doubtful the poorest will get far with it. In spite of all this, you don't have to put up with everything, it's first and foremost a matter of principle, and shouldn't Germany, which supports Ukraine, now be saying to Taiwan something like "Hey, you can't put up with this from the superpower, defend yourself, we'll also supply you with good weapons for your fight against the USA"? Here, too, the infrastructure of a country is to be destroyed, but the Western European part of the rainbow community of values measures with double standards when the aggressor is not Russia but the USA and shows what kind of "values" (?) are currently represented in the West.

To be fair, one has to ask oneself in the case of a still occupied country like Germany, how much objectivity can be expected at all from a country, whose infrastructure was destroyed by the same "friend" (keyword: USA/North Stream) and whose people traitors at the levers of power against the majority will of their people nevertheless swear their loyalty to the white house (here I consciously distinguish between these political criminals and the normal American people), while they absolutely "want" to regard Russia, which has generously supplied them with important raw materials for decades for cheapest prices, as an enemy!

If you look at the inconceivable proposals made here by the strongest nation in the western world, you feel as if you are watching a bad movie. It's hard to believe what military operations and warfare are even being considered here, that one is willing to destroy the world's most important semiconductor industry without any compunction and thus, in addition to Taiwan, damage the entire world, just so that the competitor China doesn't have anything to gain from it, not to mention the danger of a possible military backlash, which the dodder circle president and his string pullers seem to be aiming for.

"If we don't get the TSMC, let's just blow it up and hurt the whole world, especially our allies, the main thing is that no competitor prevails against us!", this seems to be the motto of Biden & Co and I'm glad that at least Taiwan, unlike most of the unprincipled cowards of the rainbow community, had enough backbone to react appropriately and clearly say: "No, you won't do something like that with us!"
