Hi, my dear friends!
A small overview of the life of our birds 😉
In the first place, of course, ducks. These are young ducklings of this year. They have already fledged enough and in a couple of weeks they will go to the duck flock.
Not far from our house there is a large pond where wild ducks live. No one hurts them there and they spend the whole year there. When my wild duck Marmykha hatches ducklings, I always take them to live there (when they grow up, of course).
Crow Bayraktar carefully watches the ducks. Bayraktar is a young crow, a chick of this year. He is already quite independent, but still does not leave my yard. What for? He is well fed here!
A young pigeon has climbed onto the roof of the enclosure and is about to fly down. I watched him for about 15 minutes, but he did not dare: he walked along the edge of the enclosure, flapped his wings, but did not take a decisive step. True, later I discovered it already on the ground, apparently still flew off.
A young chicken willingly poses for the camera. So far, she leads a carefree life: no need to lay eggs. I don't eat meat, so she's guaranteed a long life. But there are many egg lovers in my yard: seagulls, dogs, crows, they will all be happy to have a treat.
