Good day community

Today I want to bring you something that in my opinion enriches us as people and human beings on a global level, the care of our elders, our legacy, our elders and people and the cultural, musical, dance and heritage heritage that is perpetuated in time. Our elders are the source of all the experience that is accumulated over the years and we should make an important reflection on this, keep them very present in all aspects of our lives since they give us the best of them, they become elderly statesman and bring us their experience of life, they give it to us and feed us with it. They are also a help to many of our families in these fast-paced times, supporting us in many ways.

When it comes to cultural heritage, diversity across the planet enriches us as people, it gives us other perspectives and a sense of life from all corners and places of this precious land that we inhabit. The dance that I present to you today in this series of photographs is a clear example that culture, often happens, can be similar in its background and meaning in many places on the planet and this is the case of this spring dance.

This dance surprises me in the middle of a great cultural festival that has been taking place these days in the Extremaduran city of Cáceres, in Spain. A stick centered in the middle of the square and crowned with spring flowers and many colored ribbons that hang from its end and that some of the dancers take at their tips to start this knotted dance. The movement is always revolving around this central pole and the dance begins as a spectacle of synchronization and movement. The joy that they transmit in their steps, jumps and turns is contagious and produces an effect on all of us who were there watching this very special dance. The typical regional costumes with their black but broken by the basic and strong colors such as red, blue and yellow make this dance much more powerful. The tones with this movement merge in the view and mix producing a rainbow effect that leaves the viewer mesmerized by this result.

The series ordered by the movement of the dance leaves no doubt about what this dance is like. The images become a powerful source to convey this process to you, this emotional party where we all have a place and which is probably similar to others in many parts of the globe, a friend of mine, I hope you liked this report.

Bailes y tradiciones en Extremadura, Cáceres
ironpagebreak.png
