Some Online Novel Platforms: Irritating

Hello, Blurt friends. How are you today? I hope your day is pleasant and your plans go smoothly.

Regarding the title of this article, I certainly have no intention of disparaging online novel platforms. But I want to share my frustrating experience. It was really annoying. Irritating, and also nauseating.

That is when I received a contract from an online novel platform. At that time, they were a new platform that needed writers.

My contract was an exclusive contract with a target of 60,000 words in thirty days. Like a typical contract to get a writing activity bonus.

Tired

Writing 60,000 words is not an easy task. That means I had to write two chapters per day for a full month (although I wasn't too strict).

Writers were only allowed to take a break from updating their writing a few times. No more than five days. But I forgot exactly how many. I think four? I don't know. Around that.

As a writer who wants to get paid, of course, I did the task. Until the thirtieth day arrived. That was the time of the month turnover, and I would receive payment for writing a novel.

At that time, I worked hard and even worked overtime for a few days. Even the pressure on my stomach was so noticeable because my brain kept squeezing the remaining ideas in my head.

Then, Irritating

Do you know what's frustrating? Being knocked out at midnight during the month turnover. Something happened that was very shocking to me and thousands of other novel writers.

What is it: THE REQUIREMENTS FOR RECEIVING PAYMENT CHANGED!

Irritating. The decision was made precisely at the month turnover. This is a very irritating trick for writers. Even more detrimental to the mind and emotions.

Especially on that date. Usually, the writers have completed their novels after one or several months of updating the story every day.

The initial agreement that writers should be able to get paid. Finally, writers only got anger because the platform broke its promise.

Including me. I was very angry about it. Because my hard work for a month was not paid!

Even at that time, I wanted to sue. But because their location was very far away and in a different country, I couldn't do anything.

I just felt annoyed. Angry. And also hungry.
