It is permissible only for a Muslim to earn a living by working. Whether it is a government job, an organization or a private tax. As long as he is able to fulfill all the responsibilities related to the job, it is legal for him to do this job. But for those who do not have the qualifications for the job, it is not permissible to pray for the appointment of Sekaj. This condition is especially important in important administrative and judicial positions. It has been narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) that the Holy Prophet (SAW) said:

Destruction is for the administrators, destruction is for the leaders, destruction is for the treasurers. How many people will wish on the Day of Resurrection, how much better it would have been if their hair had been tied to the sun and if they had been hung between the heavens and the earth.

I said, O Messenger! Won't you appoint me to a responsible position? Hearing this, he placed his hand on my shoulder and said: O Abu Jarr, you are a very weak person. And this position is a matter of hard deposit. On the Day of Resurrection it will be a cause of shame and humiliation. Except for the one who accepted it with the utmost sincerity and performed the duties and responsibilities of the post properly.

There are three types of judges. One of them will go to paradise. And the other two kinds of judges will go to hell. He will go to paradise, the judge who found out the real truth and decided accordingly. But the judge who did the wrong thing after knowing the real truth will go to hell. And he too will go to hell. He solved the case on the basis of ignorance.

Therefore, no Muslim should make any wish or prayer for these great positions of responsibility and try to get them, even if he has the qualifications for any position. Because the person who will make any position his rabbi, that position will make him his slave. And the person who thinks everything is the result of the outward manifestation in the world, will be deprived of the heavenly tawfiq.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me: O Abdur Rahman! You don't want any leadership. Because if you get it without asking, you will be helped to fulfill that responsibility. And if you get it as a result of prayer and effort, then you will be made dependent on it.

Whoever seeks the position of judge, seeks it and recommends it, he will be handed over to him, and if anyone is forced to accept this position (not himself), Allah will send down an angel to help him.

This applies when other people are available to fill vacancies. On the other hand, if the situation is such that there is no one else to fill the vacancy and it is seen that if you do not submit yourself for that job then the overall welfare will be useless, national functions will be ruined, then there is no fault in submitting yourself for that job. No. The Qur'an tells us the story of Joseph. It states that he himself told the king:

He said, "Appoint me over the treasures of the kingdom and of the kingdom." I am the Guardian and the Protector, and I have knowledge of all things. This is also the guideline of Islam for praying for political positions.
