For some time now, I have been seeing how some users are attacked for somehow using artificial intelligence to create their articles; Although it is true that it greatly facilitates work, in some places it is not seen as a legal way of doing things.

Who can regulate its use? This is the question I've been asking myself ever since I learned about the many things that can be done with these kinds of tools. Do I use artificial intelligence to make my posts? No way! But apparently, these tools are not as perfect as many claims, since they can give erroneous results when analyzing content, either saying that it was done by a machine when it is not and vice versa.

I have read of very sad cases, where the author claims to have never used this tool, however, they are punished as if they were guilty without really verifying if they are innocent in this practice.

Anyone is in danger that when someone else checks their content using detection tools, they will get the wrong result, without denying that they can also perfectly match the result.

"We have discovered that your post has been created by a machine and this is a detestable practice for the platform and for the community; if you continue with this practice, you will be blacklisted"

The problem is that, unless they are with their own tools, there is no way to appeal the decision of someone who has decided what is right and what is wrong in someone else's post; I am inclined to think that the best way to correct this situation is to give the opportunity that, if you violate the rules of the platform where you post, you can correct the possible mistake, because... there is a possibility that the writer is as good as a machine, or that when using spell-checking tools, makes the content created by a human, similar to that created by a machine.

In my experience, I have yet to find content created by humans and the detection tool indicates that it was created by a machine; Of course, I submit to the scanner, the content, which I am sure, was written by a person.

On many occasions I have submitted my own content to these tools, resulting in 100% of it being written by a human, in this case, me, but there may be a possibility that one of these tools has a percentage of error.

Until now, in Blurt, there are no rules in this regard, and it is entirely up to you whether to cure that content or not; In particular, I do not vote for content that indicates that it was not created by a human being, much less if within its publication it does not mention the use of this tool.

In short, I believe that we must advance together with technology, and make our lives easier, without leaving the originality that a human being can have in everything I do since my originality is like my seal of guarantee in everything you undertake.

"We detected your content was created with a program..."

How did they detect that? With a program, right? So are they hypocrites?

They might respond "the difference is, that person did it secretly, whereas I did it openly".

Okay then, all the person needs to do is cite their sources. If a tool was used to make the content, say so in the post, and provide a link. Just as you do when using other people's video, images, or text. Never pretend that it was yours, as that is plagiarism. But if you acknowledge every part of the content that you're using which wasn't made by you, no matter if it was a human or a machine that did it, you've done nothing wrong.

Personally, I don't curate content as highly when the person used an automated process to do it, but I certainly don't think it should be punished if they site their sources properly.

Unfortunately, in Hive, you are heavily penalized whether you do it secretly or openly. Simply, the use of AI to create content is not allowed.

What's more, apparently, there are also some problems with the use of translators that not only correct the grammar, but change the words to make better sense of the text, and obviously, this is done by a machine.

I will make a post demonstrating that these tools can give false positives and false negatives because in the end, they were created by humans, and they can also be wrong.

Hive takes the authoritarian rules-based path again... I am not surprised.
