Hi, my dear Blurtians!

Today I will digress a little from the topic of our pets and want to talk about our affairs and problems. And first of all, I want to touch on the topic of emotional attachment and what to do with it.

Excessive emotional attachment can be a difficult thing to handle, and it can be difficult to know how to create distance from these feelings and emotions. This topic was relevant enough for me for quite a long time and I developed several tricks that helped me and maybe will help you if you need it.

One way to create distance from excessive emotional attachment is to practice tracking your desires throughout the day. This can be anything from wanting a certain type of food to wanting to buy something. The goal is not to act on these desires, but to take a step back and observe them in a detached manner, allowing yourself to not be attached to the outcome. This exercise can help you gain some insight into what triggers your feelings of attachment, as well as providing an opportunity to practice detaching yourself from those feelings.

Another helpful tip is to practice self-care. Taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental health can help keep your emotions in check, so you are better able to handle your emotions and detach from them, when necessary. This could include making time for relaxation, getting regular exercise, and eating a balanced diet.

Finally, it can also be helpful to talk to someone about your emotional attachment. This could be a friend, family member, therapist, or even a spiritual leader. Talking to someone can help you gain clarity on why you are feeling the way you do, and can also provide a safe space to express your feelings, without feeling like you are being judged or ashamed.

By using these tips, you can learn to better manage and detach from your emotions, allowing yourself the freedom to choose how to react to them. With practice, you can learn to create distance from excessive emotional attachment and develop healthier relationships with your emotions.
